Book Review
Well, while I was reading Life: A Rollercoaster Ride, first book in the series by Author Nupur Jha, I was somewhat impressed and disappointed in Amy for how she used to react to Maya’s situations, but then again, I used to forget that she is a whole other individual and is just a friend to Maya, while I, as a reader, was living Maya for that bit. But when I read this book, I can say I saw the world from Amy’s POV too. And yes, that’s even better because, oh my god, Dan! 😭🤣
My Dany boy has all of my love for real! I literally mentioned this to the author, and I’ll say it again, this book makes you forget about Liam and LITERALLY makes you fall for Dan! Call me biased for writing the review in such a manner, but for me, the major highlight of this book was DAN.
Coming to the story, it was very smooth, from college to getting caught in the mess to falling for a mafia guy, very smooth indeed. 🌚
AND HOW CAN I FORGET THE POEMS WRITTEN BY AMY!!!!! They were just incredibly heartfelt. I just can’t spoil it for you by sharing them here; you must read them directly in the book.
Somewhere, maybe because I just read the first book, it also helped me get into the flow better than it being a standalone. It gave a much better and clearer picture of what was happening around. I personally loved the concept of the book, and it is now that I understand why the author kept calling it 1.5/novella and not the second part of the book. A special THANK YOU to the author for writing this one. Although I’m waiting for book 2, this one is clearly gonna be my fav of all.
And being among the first few people to read the book before its release is such a privilege for real🤣🌼
Anyway, if you love a good, sweet mafia romance book (with certain trigger warnings, of course) this would be a perfect addition to your collection.
