His Wolf, Her Horse by Lauren Bianca – Book Review

His Wolf, Her Horse by Lauren Bianca Maduray – Book Review: A romantasy, young adult fiction book, His Wolf, Her Horse is written by Lauren Bianca. The story is about Carson and Vallerie, two people from different villages, with different lifestyles who came together because of their animals. Not just any random animals, but creatures with superpowers. It was such a good read, I can’t muster words right now. I am still wailing coz of how it ended. ToT

His Wolf her horse book review

First of all, I just want to SCREAM so hard!!!!! Mid of the night and I just finished this book and it was soooo gooodddd!!!! Okay I’ve gone crazy, totally crazy, the ending has made me feel like a dead (as if I was alive before, but anyway!)

Okay coming back to the book, so the book starts with Carson living with his Nana and Pups and him finding Sapphire. Certain things happened here and there when he met Vallerie (I’m not dropping any spoilers okay? You so have to read it, trust me, you’ll love it!!!) Later on, the story revolves around how they survived the isolated life, saved themselves from being un-alive, saved their babies (the creatures/animals), and tried their best to live the life they deserved. I am not dropping any spoilers, okay? I am trying not to drop any spoilers. ToT

I actually loved the author’s style of writing. It’s so natural and easy to go with. It made reading the book even more enjoyable. No stress about focusing on understanding what that precise word or sentence means, it’s like listening to a tale told by your friend. And that’s something I appreciate the most when it comes to reading, it makes me feel the story more realistically.

Oh and did I tell you about the cutest animals to ever exist (fictional but who cares, Lol!). They were totally the best part of the entire book. The way Attarys wasn’t very trustful of Carson at first but Sapphire was all in for Carson and omg Crystal, she was such a cutie. I can just cry right now! She was the utter cuteness after her entry.

One thing that I loved about the book is, it wasn’t about just the jungle life, but also about how relations worked, how they were again and again stabbed by the people they trusted, being lost yet always being there for each other. When Daylen hurt them when he confessed what he did, that part just broke me on Carson and Vallerie’s behalf. It made me so crazy, like these cuties trusted him and what did he do? It was just worse! Never did I ever feel this much at peace as much I was when Carry killed him, lol!

Also, OMG HOW CAN I MISS, CARSON IS FREAKING OBSESSED WITH OUR LADY. That was literary the cherry the book needed. The obsessive kinda love, damn! And he calls her SILVER? Aishh. I am all yikes and aishh and yayy and aaaahhhhh for this book.

Let me also mention the line I am so goddamn obsessed with ~

Life is always the same, the only difference dear young one, is you have a choice… it’s either you live in the legacy of those who pass on with the ones you still have or you lose both.”

It’s not rocket science yet, but it’s a big thing to understand. And me, personally, being a believer in letting bygones be bygones and moving ahead with your life, I fell in love with this line.

If you are a romance fantasy lover, who likes to play with mythical creatures, oh and someone who’d love to see how a horse and wolf had a baby girl, you HAVE to give this book, His Wolf, Her Horse a read!! You cannot miss the book at any cost!

Till then, stay tuned with Read With Sonal! I will be coming up with pretty book reviews very soon. But yes, don’t forget to give this one a read!
