I am a keen fiction reader and a book reviewer from India. Earlier a romance reader, now I can proudly say, I am broadening my horizon to multiple segments of fiction. XD. Here, you will find my personal point of view on the books that I love.
Ever since I discovered Wattpad during my school time, I could never go back to not reading, quite literally. Although I miss my Wattpad girlie era but this is the new me who has fallen in love with paperbacks. And as said by every paperback lover, there’s no going back from reading actual books, and digital reading could never come close to that, LOL!
I started this blog when I started to learn about websites, and to be honest, at that time, I was ready to do anything to keep a memory of books that I loved and to share my feelings about the books that I read. When I started my writing journey as a content writer (yeah, well, a corporate girlie, demn!), I decided, I was going to start my journey from this very blog.
Although I was very nervous if I would even gain any readers or if it would somehow add to people’s lives, but then I decided to give it a shot because I didn’t want to think back on life and be like, what if I had done this. I was honestly very scared of that what-if, and if I think about it, I have so many what-ifs scaring me at this point, but I am glad ‘not starting a book blog’ isn’t one of them. This platform is like a baby to me. I have seen it grow from ground zero to whatever it is today, and I love it totally.
In 2017, I came across Wattpad during one of my classes. I still remember that day LOL! Long story short, that was the time I started reading. Initially, it was fan fiction about Manan, the couple from a well-known Indian Youth Show – Kaisi Yeh Yariaan. Oh yes, I am a Samthaan Girl, I mean, he’s one hell of a fine man, isn’t he? It was in the later years that I started to explore more genres and subgenres when I discovered fantasy books, including Werewolf, LGBTQ+, teen fiction, new adult, and a lot more. And gradually I just fell in love with reading.
Thereby, in 2022, I finally kept my thoughts aside and started this blog, Read With Sonal. Here I write book reviews, some quotes and excerpts and well, whatever my mind can think about.
Apart from reading and spitting such rants, I work as an SEO executive and as a Merchandise Manager at TLB City, and I LOVE it. Maybe a little less than my crowned books, but yeah, I love the work and my community. Yeah, well, I have grown to call TLB my own community. I love being a part of such an incredible team, and the members there are like a dear family to me. All thanks to my cutest author, Yumnah, who very sweetly invited me to join them.
Just a little heads-up, half of the books I talk about here are ARC reads, but my opinions remain unbiased. Just letting you people know in advance because at times people tend to assume the reviews must be paid or are in collab. THAT’S ENTIRELY NOT THE CASE. I write what I personally feel about the plot, the storyline, the characters and the author. It’s all that I feel about them in real life.

Bookish Merchandise
I always wondered why we have merchandise items for all the popular niches, but nothing for readers. I mean, as far as I had seen online and offline, I had never seen someone wearing clothes that reflected the reader in them. I wanted to buy some things for myself, but the lack of such items made me think, why not be the provider and not just a receiver? And that’s how my lovelies, came the idea to launch our own bookish merchandise items. And when I have y’all here, why would I take stress about finding readers to offer these items to? So, here’s me, presenting you with the exclusive merchandise items for the reader, child, and author in you.
